The Paris Climate Agreement, a legally-binding international treaty on climate change, of which the Philippines is a signatory, was signed in 2016. Ten years since its negotiation at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, the Philippines remains committed to meet its pledge to implement its national climate action plan. The DOST ASTHRDP-NSC scholars, being among the future leaders in R&D in S&T in the Philippines, may play a significant role in this action.
