About the Speaker

Mr. Luis-Enrique Becerra-Garcia

Mr. Luis-Enrique Becerra-Garcia is a dynamic professional with more than 10 years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and public administration. He is currently a Research Associate and Impact Strategist at Indiana University’s School of Public Health, where he leads strategic initiatives that enhance inclusive excellence and belonging. He previously served in Mexico’s Federal Government as Director of Public Management Improvement, where he advanced inclusive hiring practices and workforce diversity. Among his achievements, he was selected as the first Dean’s Administrative Fellow for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Indiana University and placed 2nd in the Grant Thornton Idea Case Competition in 2023. His research and leadership continue to bridge policy, practice, and institutional impact, making significant contributions to equitable access and organizational development in both academic and governmental contexts.
